DeVry Offers Master's Program in Educational Technology

4/10/2007—DeVry University recently announced its new Master of Science in Educational Technology program. The curriculum is designed for K-12 educators, as well as other types of instructors, to understand the best ways to use technology for the classroom.

The program is "designed to be especially attractive to employed teachers," according to DeVry. The classes will cover learning theory, instructional design and other teaching methodologies when using educational software, internet-based programs, computer-based learning and multi-media systems.

Students in the program, currently only available online, will have to complete 12 to 15 courses to receive their degree.

DeVry University currently has 48,000 students enrolled in 84 locations though out the United States and Canada and online.
