TeacherLine Schedule Expands to 6 Terms

PBS TeacherLine has expanded its course schedule to six terms for its most popular and newest online courses.

TeacherLine offers facilitated online courses, collaborative learning communities, and online resources for teachers to earn continuing education units, professional development points, and graduate credits. The six-week courses take about 30 hours to complete.

The new terms are being added in the spring and summer and will include classes, such as:

Enrollment is currently open for the late spring term beginning May 11, the early summer term set for June 22, and the late summer term, which will start August 10.

    Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) recently announced a partnership with Avantis Education to bring educational virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) solution ClassVR to its students. A news release reports that the district has already deployed more than 16,000 ClassVR headsets as part of the Los Angeles Unified Instructional Technology Initiative.
