Edgenuity, Sophia Partner on Dual-Credit Courses

Online and blended learning provider Edgenuity has launched courses offering dual credit for high school and college.

The dual-credit self-paced courses are being offered through a partnership with Sophia and have been recommended for credit by the American Council on Education's (ACE) College Recommendation Service.

Multiple tutorials and instructors are available for courses, allowing students to follow teachers who work for them. Designed to be mobile-friendly, schools and districts can implement the courses with their own on-site teachers or use Edgenuity's virtual instructors.

Dual-credit courses currently available through the Edgenuity and Sophia partnership include accounting, approaches to studying religions, college algebra, conflict resolution, human biology, introduction to art history, introduction to psychology, introduction to sociology, introduction to statistics, microeconomics and visual communications.
