Follett Now Offers the Playaway Launchpad Learning Tablet

LaunchpadFindaway and Follett School Solutions today announced that Follett is the exclusive preK-12 distributor of Playaway Launchpad, the children’s learning tablet. Introduced by Findaway in March 2015, the tablet delivers ad-free learning apps grouped together by subject area, theme, grade level and age.

According to a release from the two companies, every Launchpad is custom-curated with apps chosen to address the learning needs of students from pre-K through fifth grade. The content collection spans six learning areas, including English language arts, math, science, language learning, critical thinking and creativity.

A customizable user interface offers students the opportunity to create their own personal avatars. An informational console gives parents and educators feedback about the time students have spent on the tablet. A one-touch reset feature erases previous user data.

Launchpad is powered by an Android operating system and features a 7-inch high-definition touchscreen, an external speaker, a universal audio jack and a protective bumper. The tablet has no WiFi or camera capabilities. Launchpad comes with a shelf-ready circulating case and a USB/AC power adaptor.

Playaway Launchpad tablets are now available on Follett Titlewave.
