IlliniCloud Co-Op Adding Security Services

A cooperative of school districts will be creating a cybersecurity operation service with the help of a company that specializes in security.

IlliniCloud, a non-profit technology cooperative with school districts in Illinois and other states, provides cloud-based services, including storage, disaster recovery and backup and data integration for district reporting. A new agreement with Mosaic451 will add cybersecurity to the stack.

The two organizations will work to develop "IlliniSecure." Through the agreement IlliniSecure will protect member districts, beginning first in Illinois and spreading to those in other states. The security services will help schools protect their virtual perimeters, data and onsite and remote users.
