Campus Suite Academy Debuts Accessibility and ADA Compliance Site for Schools

Campus Suite Academy has launched a new website with resources designed to help school and district administrators ensure their digital communications are in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Dubbed the School Website Accessibility Education Center, the new site is aimed at school communications and public relations representatives, as well as IT professionals, as schools are joining other government agencies in the requirement to make sure their website are accessible and ADA-compliant.

The site includes articles, videos and infographics designed to help administrators and communications professionals understand accessibility and ADA compliance, along with guides and templates for developing a plan to ensure compliance in their own institutions.

"As digital communications continue to expand and we all become more dependent on websites for accessing and sharing information, many schools are unwittingly creating obstacles for people with disabilities," said Jay Cooper, director of the Campus Suite Academy, in a prepared statement. "This website helps answer the questions school administrators and school boards are asking about how to make their websites ADA compliant."
