The platform allows districts to streamline their operations, reduce administrative workloads, and ensure the safety and accessibility of facilities, according to a news release. Features include comprehensive facility scheduling for both school events and community rentals; safety and security capabilities like people tracking; revenue generation via renting out school facilities like auditoriums, fields, and gymnasiums; and automation and maintenance tools for automated invoicing, insurance verification, payment collections, and preventative maintenance and work-order management.

With Facilitron, MDCPS will streamline their facility use management, optimize space utilization, and strengthen community relationships," said Cheryl Galloway, Facilitron's director of community engagement.
