It includes strategies, code architectures, tips, techniques and fully realized code. The only other book available is Oracle's reference manual and training courses tend to focus on the flashy GUI tools and ignore the more complicated PL/SQL programming. PL/SQL is a relatively new programming language with procedural extensions to the SQL relational database language and to an ever-growing number of development tools, including SQL Plus, ORACLE Graphics and Cooperative Development Environment (CDE).
