Mobile Labs Roll Into Rural Georgia

The Richmond/Burke Job Training Authority in Augusta, Ga., is bringing programs and services to clients with a new Mobile Learning Lab purchased from CENTEC Learning.

The mobile lab is equipped with computer workstations and software for career assessment, basic skills remediation, life and work skills, and ESL. The Authority chose this method of delivery because adult learners enjoy immediate access to software that has been proven effective.

"Our goals are to increase the number of individuals served in our rural areas" in a more cost-effective manner, said Ms. Aray Darden, executive director. CENTEC Learning, Yardley, PA, (800) 882-4384.
