Compact Speakers Offer "3D Sound"

Despite their small footprint, three new Space-Saver stereo speaker systems for the Mac and PCs generate 10 watts RMS at only 1% distortion. All systems offer built-in headphone, microphone pass-through and subwoofer jacks, plus seven-foot connection cables. Dynamic Bandwidth Bass Equalization promises superior bass response without a separate subwoofer. The LCS-1224 incorporates Spatializer technology for a 3D surround-sound experience. Both this model and the LCS-1024 include a one-touch mute button and Clear Desk bracket for mounting. The entry-level LCS-1022 rounds out the new trio. Labtec, Vancouver, WA, (360) 896-2000.
