Yamaha has dropped the price on its award- winning internal 4X/4X (quad-speed read & record) CD-R drive. The CDR100, an internal drive, is now priced at $999, one of the few 4X/4X drives under the $1,000 mark.

The drive handles all standard formats and fits a standard 5.25-inch disk drive bay. Yamaha Systems Technology, Inc., San Jose, CA, (408) 467-2300.
