Psych Journals Are on CD-ROM

The Ovid Mental Health Collection comprises 10 full-text journals in the fields of psychiatry and psychology, and is fully linked not only to MEDLINE, as the rest of the Ovid Full Text Collections are, but to PsycINFO as well.

The journals in the collection are: American Journal of Psychiatry, Annual Review of Psychology, Archives of General Psychiatry, British Journal of Psychiatry, Current Opinion in Psychiatry, Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Journal of Clinical Psychopharmacology, Psychological Medicine, Psychosomatic Medicine and Year Book of Psychiatry.

The Collection enables any user from a novice to a sophisticated researcher to search not only full text but charts, illustrations, photographs, captions and references.

Further, these collections are fully linked to each other and to MEDLINE, so that a user can move from a bibliographic citation in MEDLINE to the text of an article in the full-text collection, and vice versa.

The Ovid Mental Health Collection will be available on CD-ROM for network and standalone implementations and in magnetic format for storage on a local server. Product updates occur on a monthly basis and pricing varies according to configuration and number of users. Ovid Technologies, Inc., New York, NY, (800) 950-2035, www.ovid.com
