LCD Desktop Projector Suits Seminars, Lectures and More

The ViewSonic PJ800 LCD projector meets the stringent standards required for training seminars, classroom lectures and other presentations within an educational environment. Its three 1.3" polysilicon active LCD panels independently process light to produce sharp, full-color images ranging from 30" to 300" diagonally on any flat surface.

Offering 550 ANSI lumens, a 200:1 contrast ratio and a full palette of 16.7 million colors, the PJ800 assures clear viewing of graphics, photos or video, even in well lighted rooms. The unit supports 800 x 600 resolution and 1,024 x 768 advanced video compression resolution. The lamp has an impressive life span of up to 3,000 hours.

A highlight of the projector is its OPUS (Optical Prism Uniformity System) technology, which actively converts light rays while maximizing brightness and sharpness throughout the screen and eliminating dark corners and edges. A handheld remote with built-in mouse lets the presenter control all functions, operate computer programs and access input sources.

The PJ800 accepts three input sources from video, PC or Mac systems. Weighing just over 20 pounds, the unit also includes two one-watt speakers and a motorized zoom/focus lens that retracts for safe transport. An optional ceiling mount kit enables permanent installation. ViewSonic Corp., Walnut, CA, (800) 888-8583, www.viewsonic.com.
