New Service Publishes School Web Sites

This month sees the introduction of wwwrrr@myschool, an easy-to-use Internet program allowing schools to publish information online for parents and students. Through this service, families can get news and information about school events and activities, communicate with teachers via e-mail, view student projects and homework assignments, take virtual field trips, and exchange ideas and opinions with other parents and students.

As an online communication, training and education company, wwwrrr, Inc. is dedicated to transforming the World Wide Web into an understandable environment for learning. A Web site from wwwrrr@myschool will consist of several customized modules. With this service, schools can publish their news, calendars, directory information, lunch menus and student projects. There is an online forum allowing students and parents to voice questions, issues, praise and concerns. A collection of Web links suggested by the school can guide families to further sites of interest. The service also features a collection of individual homepages created by teachers, where they can list homework, notes and news. wwwrrr, Inc., Mendota Heights, MN, (877) 999-7771, www.wwwrrr.net.
