New Outlets Feature Innovative Design

ADC’s Enteraprise 6000 Multimedia Outlets are a new line of work area outlets for enterprise network copper, fiber and coax applications. They combine a new patent-pending design and appearance with functionality that streamlines installation and maintenance. Rather than sharp angles and flush surfaces that are typical of these sorts of outlets, the 6000 series features subtle curves, rounded profiles and softer edges that help the outlets blend in.

The outlets can handle the full set of applications, including 6000 Modular Jacks for Category 6, Category 5E, and Category 3 twisted pair applications, as well as 6000 Media Adapters for fiber, coax, S-video and RCA applications. Jacks and media adapters are also front or rear loading on faceplates, saving installation and maintenance time. In addition, the 6000 Modular Jacks and 6000 Media Adapters are available in flat or angled profiles, feature fingertip installation and removal, and can be used interchangeably on outlets. The entire line — including faceplates, outlets, boxes, stand-off rings and the insert body for jacks and media adapters — is available in four colors.
