Also from Gateway comes the Gateway @ccess program. This five-step turnkey process involves planning and preparation, cabling installation, configuration and staging, system installation, and orientation. To determine the scope of the project, initial requirements are assessed. Prior to the arrival of the equipment, Gateway coordinates the installation of all network cabling. The staging process includes initial software information and programming of network specific information, such as IP addresses. Every stage of hardware setup and configuration (including server, workstations, printers, hubs and routers) is handled, and after installation an orientation is held. Full 24-hour technical support is also available. Gateway, North Sioux City, SD, (800) 779-2000, www.gateway.com/edu.
