Brother International Corp. offers the HL-1240, a monochrome personal laser printer compatible with Apple’s iMac/G3 and Windows OS platforms. At up to 12 ppm with 600 x 600 dpi resolution, the laser printer produces crisp output and comes standard with USB and parallel ports. It includes a 250-sheet paper cassette and 2MB of standard memory. Among Brother’s other products is the MFC-P2500, which includes all of the above features, as well as scanning and copying functions.
