NEW RELEASES - Internet Products, Inc.

The iPrism, a stand-alone server appliance from Internet Products, Inc., provides a new approach to Internet monitoring and filtering. The server appliance gives network administrators precise control of their school’s Internet access policy, the flexibility to assign access privileges based on individual user or classroom requirements, and the ability to monitor and manage Internet use.

The subscription-based iPrism is designed to provide organizations with a combination of low start-up expense, cost-effective ongoing services and minimal maintenance effort. Internet content is continually retrieved by proprietary software tools and reviewed daily by trained professionals. More than five million URLs are currently blocked, with 15,000 new sites reviewed and categorized weekly. The iPrism can also control most Internet services, including IRC, ICQ, RealAudio, Net Meeting, Telnet and FTP. The server appliance installs easily into a network and requires no modification to existing software or hardware. Internet Products, Inc., San Diego, CA, (877) 320-4800, www.InternetProducts.com.
