Centrinity Inc. has launched a new version of FirstClass Gold, a program that enablesteachers and students to access their collaborative computing systems any time and from any communication device.Enhancements and new features include Windows 2000 compatibility, an IPNotifier, support for Palm Computing connected organizers, and a fully licensedversion of FirstClass RAD (Rapid Application Developer).

The IP Notifier alerts FirstClass users to incoming mailwhenever they are connected to the network, even when not logged in toFirstClass. Users of Palm Computing can log in to FirstClass from theirorganizers and other 100% Palm OS compatible devices to access their FirstClasscalendars, to-do lists, address books, and memos from wherever they happen tobe.
