Partnership Eases Procurement and Purchase Orders Processes

A new partnership between TENEXSystems’ Budgetary Accounting Software and eschoolmall.com’s online procurement solutionpromises to offer an end-to-end purchasing solution. When using both solutions,this interface will allow schools to take full advantage of an onlinepurchasing solution while automatically updating their fund accounting systems.

The partnership will deliver a complete procurement solutionfor K-12 schools, enabling school districts to complete each stage of theprocess electronically, from bidding, quoting, and initial requisitioningthrough fund encumbrance, liquidation, purchase orders and payment. Thisinterface ensures an efficient cash management system, allowing administratorsto maintain budget control and comply with local, state and federalregulations. Eschoolmall.com’s agent-based interfacewill allow data to be shared back and forth between the TENEX Systems’accounting software and the eschoolmall.com procurement solution. This willallow school administrators to track encumbrances, liquidations and accountbalances more easily during the procurement process. The solution will alsoembrace the Schools Interoperability Framework, which permits diverse softwareapplications for K-12 schools to interact and share data.
