Monster Exchange is an interactive learning site that provides K-8 students with a unique way to use the Internet to hone their reading, writing and creative expression skills. Classrooms worldwide are paired together, and students from one classroom draw and write a description of a monster, which they exchange with their partnered classroom. The second group of students must then draw a monster that resembles the original one, relying only on written descriptions. Once this process is complete, all the monsters are uploaded into the Monster Gallery to compare and view.
