Routing System Manages Fiber Optic Cable

Panduit has introduced FiberRunner, a 6 x 4 routing system for fiber optic cable. The system provides effective routing, segregation and protection of fiber optic cabling between and around distribution frames, terminal devices and splice enclosures. As part of the complete Panduit fiber distribution system, it is designed for seamless integration with other Panduit routing systems and products, including Fiber-Duct routing systems and Opticom and Opticom HD fiber enclosures.

The system brings a variety of benefits to users, including substantial structural strength, which allows a 6-foot FiberRunner span to support itself even when loaded beyond the maximum fill capacity. It also incorporates Panduit's QuickLock connection components, allowing each component to be connected in less than five seconds for time-saving installation. QuickLock components for use with this system include coupler, brackets and tee fitting parts.

For maximum versatility of application, the system also allows multiple spillout options, including a three-sided trumpet for open access, inner duct transition to corrugated tubing, or transition to Panduit Fiber-Duct 4 x 4 or 2 x 2 slotted ducts.
