Alliance Makes PerfectBound e-books Available on the Web

Reciprocal, Inc., a global leader in digital rights management (DRM) has announced a strategic relationship with HarperCollins, a leading English-language publisher. Reciprocal will provide digital clearinghouse and fulfillment services to HarperCollins in a global English-language electronic publishing program.

Through its use of Reciprocal’s Digital Clearinghouse Service and several licensed DRM tools, HarperCollins will be able to see secure copies of its PerfectBound e-books through online retailers across the Web. These PerfectBound e-books will be supported in Microsoft Reader and Adobe Acrobat e-Book Reader formats. The e-book publishing program has launched with 15 announced titles, which are published in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia and New Zealand, all under the PerfectBound imprint.
