New Releases...BioFit Engineered Products

BioFit Engineered Products has introduced a new desk insert for customizing its semi-recessed Monitor Computer Technology Desk to accommodate Apple's iMac, Internet, DVD and desktop video-editing equipment. The new insert, Model No. 17IM, joins the line of desk inserts available from BioFit for styling the computer desk to fit specific types of classroom instruction. Inserts of various heights and widths are offered to accommodate a variety of other multimedia training tools and equipment, such as dual monitors, CAD/ CAM/CAE equipment, VCRs and video editors. BioFit's computer technology workstation is designed to fit a monitor on the sloping shelf 6" below the desk's writing surface, which gives instructors and students a clear view of each other and of visual aids. Sloping-tray inserts with non-skid matting allow electronic equipment and accessories to be placed flush with, or slightly below, the writing surface.

The new iMac tray insert is 17" wide and features a non-skid matting surface. It also includes hook and loop tape for securing hardware to the sloping tray. Applications of the new BioFit insert include Apple's iMac, iMac DV, iMac DV+ and iMac DV Special Edition models. BioFit Engineered Products, Waterville, OH, (800) 597-0246, www.biofit.com.
