Hewlett-Packard has just released the Compaq Evo Notebook N1015v. The new notebook computer comes complete with MultiPort wireless technology, which provides users the convenience of accessing the Internet or a network without cables. Weighing less than 7 lbs. and with a price starting at $899, the N1015v offers integrated floppy and optical drives. It features a choice of Mobile AMD Athlon XP processors operating at speeds up to 1.53 GHz; 128 MB or 256 MB of DDR SDRAM, expandable to 1,024 MB; up to a 40 GB SMART hard drive; up to a 15” color TFT XGA screen; and an option of a DVD-ROM, CD-ROM or DVD/CD-RW combo drive. In addition, the N1015v’s design makes it comfortable to carry by hand and better accessible for people with disabilities.
