Acer Program Makes Wi-Fi Access a Reality for K-12 Schools

Schools nationwide are rushing to apply for Acer America Corp.'s "Wi-Fi 101" program, which will provide a wireless system to one school in each qualifying district up to a maximum of 120 schools. The selected K-12 schools will receive free installation of up to four wireless access points in two different locations. Schools need only supply their own wireless notebooks and other equipment to take part in this rapidly growing area of technology that is often too costly for schools to undertake on their own. For more information and to obtain an application for the Acer Wi-Fi program, visit www.acer.com/wifi101. While there is no deadline, spots are limited and filling up quickly due to enthusiastic response.
