NEC Solutions America

NEC Solutions America (www.necvisualsystems.com) has released a new line of 42", 50" and 61" XGA native resolution plasma displays: the PlasmaSync 42XM2, 50XM3 and 61XM2. NEC's Capsulated Color Filter technology offers realistic color reproduction and its AccuCrimson technology creates the purest reds possible in a plasma display, while its MASS technology eliminates jagged lines and corrects color bleeds for clear and defined images. Versatility is ensured thanks to Advanced AccuBlend scaling technology for precise display in both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios of up to a UXGA resolution. NEC's new displays also can be configured in either a 2 x 2 or a 3 x 3 matrix without an external processor for a larger-than-life display with even greater impact. The units come equipped with 9 watts per channel stereo audio (8 watts per channel for the 42XM2) and a programmable timer that allows the displays to virtually operate themselves. The displays are sleek and light enough to be wall mounted, and can operate in either a portrait or landscape orientation.
