Class.com Has Two New Mini-courses

Class.com (www.class.com) has two new mini-courses that are designed to help students, teachers and parents preview the online learning experience to gauge the students' ability to grasp the new learning method and ultimately succeed. The "Skills for Success" course is designed to help determine a student's best learning style and potential for retention, while the parent version helps adults understand the e-learning experience prior to enrolling their child in an online course. Together, both courses offer a unique blend of student assessment and parent involvement that just may prove to be the secret to successful mastery of online education. The materials and the two courses were developed by the Texas Virtual School program (www.texasvirtualschool.org) at Texas' Region IV Education Service Center in Houston.
