MathType 5

MathType 5 is an authoring program that allows users to type out mathematical equations. The software works with any word processor, presentation or page design program, or HTML-authoring tool. MathType 5 allows users to format equations by changing spacing, font size and style. It also gives users the ability to convert equations in a document to TeX, LaTeX and MathML formats. In addition, users can also export equations in EPS, GIF or WMF format. The new MathPage feature converts Word documents into Web pages, with equations automatically appearing as GIF images or MathML in your browser. Design Science, (800) 824-0685, www.dessci.com.
