Centurion Technologies Inc.

Centurion Technologies Inc. (www.centuriontech.com), providers of the hard drive and configuration restoration software protection DriveShield for Windows and MacShield, is offering a new value-based licensing scheme to the education and library markets. When purchasing a "universal" license, users can transfer the license from one operating system to another within the Windows (2000 to XP) or Mac OS (OS 9 to 10.3) line. Users can also transfer this license across platforms. The license management software automatically detects the operating system that the protection software is installed on and assigns it the appropriate license. The administrator simply transfers license locations through Centurion's Network Control License Manager remote management software, which is included within the original license purchase.
