NEC Solutions (America) Portable Projectors

NEC Solutions (America)NEC Solutions (America), Visual Systems Division (www.necvisualsystems.com), has released two portable projectors, the NEC LT245 and the LT265, both of which offer remote desktop control and the ability to broadcast information to multiple projectors and computers. The LT series features a flexible 802.11g wireless communications system that allows presenters to quickly set up anywhere in a room, send information to projectors and other computers, and switch from one presenter to another. And by inserting a USB drive or Compact Flash memory card into one of the projectors, users can give computer-free presentations with a wireless remote control. In addition, the projectors offer integrated RJ45 to connect to a wired network, perform remote diagnostics, and feature an e-mail notification that sends a message to a system administrator when maintenance is needed. Finally, the LT series is designed with enhanced multilevel security features such as an integrated lock slot, password protection to restrict unauthorized use, and WEP (wired equivalent privacy) encryption, which can be set at four different levels. Both models have a DLP panel resolution up to UXGA with Advanced AccuBlend technology.
