Two New Releases from Plato Learning

Completing their Writing Process and Practice series, Plato Learning(www.plato.com) has released two new products designed to improvestudents’ literacy and writing skills. While using methods appropriatefor older learners, Plato Essential Writing Process and Practiceprovides a foundation for writing by teaching strategies andgrammar skills that are usually taught in grades 3-4. Thecurriculum contains about 26 hours of scaffolded instruction,delivered in two courses: Writing Strategies, and Grammar andMechanics. The second release is the Plato Fundamental WritingProcess and Practice program, which builds upon the lessonslearned in the Essential Writing courses as it teaches strategies usedwithin the writing process, and the contextual usage of grammarskills taught in grades 5 and 6. Pricing varies.
