Princeton Review Brings Statewide Assessments to Tennessee

The Princeton Review’s (www.review.com) K-12 services division has been awarded a contract from the Tennessee Department of Education that will enable it to deliver online formative math and reading assessments to students statewide at strategic intervals throughout the year. The contract is also providing professional development for Tennessee teachers to help them decipher the data and learn to use the results to make impor-tant curriculum adjustments. This project makes the Tennessee program one of the first in the country to deliver assessments on a statewide basis.
