LIGHTSPEED TECHNOLOGIES is introducing Infrared Classroom Amplification Technology (REDCAT), an allin-one audio system so simple to deploy that it’s well suitedto schools in older buildings and in classrooms where thereare obstacles to installing hardware. The purpose of REDCATis to distribute sound evenly and intelligibly throughout aroom. The elements of the system include a speaker, ampli-fier, receiver, and IR sensors.
