Qwest Foundation Announces Qwest Teachers and Technology Grant Program

4/10/2007—The Qwest Foundation announced its Qwest Teachers and Technology grant program, to provide Colorado Schools with $100,000 worth of classroom technology.

According to the Qwest Foundation, the grant will "provide Colorado teachers vital technology for their classrooms."

The grants will be awarded to individuals or teams of K-12 public school teachers through a competitive grant process for recognition of their innovation when using technology in the classroom.

The grants will be selected by a committee, and administered by the Fund for Colorado in Southern Colorado and the Public Education and Business Coalition in Northern Colorado.
