Waterford Releases E-mail Archiving Software for K-12

Waterford Technologies has announced new education pricing for its MailMeter Archive software for K-12 schools. MailMeter is an e-mail and file archive management solution.

MailMeter is designed to meet the requirements of various regulations requiring accessibility to electronic records for litigation and other purposes. It supports Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino, Ipswitch IMail, and SeattleLab SLMail Pro servers and runs on Windows-based servers.

Beginning this month, MailMeter is available for $99 for school districts, which covers the software license fee for unlimited mailboxes.

"With the drastic budget cuts challenging even the most frugal superintendents, we wanted to make sure that school districts could satisfy their FRCP (Federal Rules for Civil Procedure) needs," said Tom Politowski, president of Waterford. "The $99 special price is a huge discount from our normal business pricing. MailMeter Archive is a full functioning solution for unlimited mailboxes and can run on an existing Windows server. No other software solution or hardware appliance comes even close to this low cost investment."
