NovaNET Online System Adds State-Aligned History Course

Pearson has released a new and expanded version of NovaNET, the company's online courseware system for middle school and high school.

NovaNET is an online courseware system that covers language arts, math, science, and social studies. It offers interactive resources, integrated assessments, and student management features. It'[s used for high school prep among middle schoolers and for credit recovery, remediation, and GED/SAT prep for high schoolers.

The new NovaNET 17.0 adds a state-aligned, full-year course in United States history, offering 117 multimedia lessons. Features include:

  • Videos and animations covering major historical concepts, events, and figures;
  • Independent practice;
  • Guided practice;
  • Organization features; and
  • Various interactive elements, including maps and graphs.
