Elmo USA To Launch Mobile Projector in January

Elmo USA will unveil its new mobile projector at the 2013 International CES in January in Las Vegas, NV.

The Boxi projector weighs 1.3 pounds and works with mobile devices, including iPhones and iPads.

Features of the projector include:

  • An LED optical engine that shows images and video in 1080p. Light can be used for up to 20,000 hours;
  • An Ultra-short throw that can light up to a 50-inch screen;
  • The ability to project from iPads and iPhones;
  • HDMI, VGA, and USB inputs; and
  • Boxi document viewer for projecting documents, movies, and photos, without hooking up a computer. It also comes with movie and photo viewers.

Boxi comes with a free app, which will be available in the Apple App Store. Elmo USA plans to release an Android app in the near future.

Representatives from Elmo will be stationed at booth 36606 in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
