Leander ISD Adopts New ERP with Integrated Content Management, Analytics

The Leander Independent School District has adopted a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, content management tool and analytics solution in an effort to improve data access and security.

Following an assessment of its current systems and a competitive review of ERPs, the 36,000-student district chose Munis, from Tyler Technologies, for its online access to real-time information and its ability to improve efficiency, usability and customer service.

"Leander ISD chose to partner with Tyler because of its extensive experience in the public sector, specifically with providing like-sized districts in Texas with better operational, reporting and analytical tools," according to a news release. "The integrated nature of Tyler’s solutions will also help the district streamline its technology footprint while meeting the increased demands for data reporting and security."

In addition to core Munis applications including financial, accounting and HR management tools, the district will adopt Tyler Content Manager to manage information electronically and reduce paper use and Tyler Pulse, an information warehouse tool.
