Canvas Adds Intellify Analytics

Instructure and Intellify have teamed up in an effort to provide more data-driven insights into student learning and achievement.

As a result of the partnership, Intellify's cloud-based analytics platform, Intellify4.edu, will be integrated with Instructure's Canvas learning management system (LMS). Intellify4.edu will combine data from the LMS with that of third-party applications to provide a single data foundation.

"This enables educators to track performance across the curriculum and assess the efficacy of applications," according to a news release. "Built upon the Intellify LlaaS (learning-intelligence-as-a-service) platform, Intellify4.EDU delivers relevant learning insights through predefined dashboards and action informing notifications that are also configurable to meet an institution's unique requirements."

"Instructure is a firm believer in openness and delivering more capabilities to our clients," said Melissa Loble, vice president of partners and programs at Instructure, in a prepared statement. "Our partnership with Intellify will give universities and schools greater insights into the learning process. We are excited our clients will have the ability to bring data from the Canvas LMS with other learning applications into one place to further drive better insights into student learning."
