Tutor the People Launches Tutor Marketplace

Tutor the People has unveiled a new web application, Tutor App, designed to connect students with tutors.

Designed for students at every level from grade school to graduate school, Tutor App allows users to search for tutors by price range, availability or location. Users can see which tutors are currently online, message tutors, search subjects or confirm online or in-person meetings.

The service is free for both tutors and students to use. Tutors set their own hourly rates and Tutor App subtracts a commission for students introduced to tutors through the service. Tutors can also bring in existing students via a referral link to avoid a commission.

More information is available at tutorapp.com.
