Annual Camp Promethean Free Virtual Learning Event for Educators is Thursday

Ed tech provider Promethean will host its annual Camp Promethean virtual professional learning event on Thursday, July 14 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. EDT, and participation is free for educators, the company said in a news release.

Camp Promethean offers professional development sessions for educators that are designed to help teachers get more out of Promethean classroom technology and see a bigger impact in student outcomes.

The keynote speaker for Thursday’s event will be Ron Clark, founder of The Ron Clark Academy and widely known as “America's Educator” and the 2000 Disney American Teacher of the Year. During his keynote, Clark is expected to share “key strategies to uplift and motivate all educators,” including how to leverage Promethean’s ActivPanel interactive display to increase student engagement in the classroom.

Camp Promethean professional learning sessions for educators are led by Promethean's Education Consultant team and will include ActivInspire, ClassFlow, Promethean's Classroom Essential Apps, STEM, ActivPanel Orientations, and more.
