FFL Updates E-rate Manager with New Historical Data for Tracking School Funding

Funds for Learning has released an update to E-rate Manager, a free E-rate data analytics tool for schools and libraries.

E-rate is the FCC program (administered by the Universal Service Administrative Co.) that supports schools and libraries with discounts on specific categories of technology. It's funded through the Universal Service Fund.

E-rate Manager allows E-rate applicants to view past and current applications. “E-rate Manager provides a meaningful way for applicants to review and evaluate publicly available funding data that otherwise exists in disparate locations. As we enter the 25th year of the E-rate program, this historical data lends applicants clear visibility into past, present and future internet connectivity demands,” said John Harrington, CEO at Funds For Learning, in a prepared statement. “We released this tool so E-rate applicants can have all the data points they need in a digital format to fully utilize available funding in a way that best serves students and library patrons.”

The latest release adds the ability for schools and libraries to view their historic data through a range of filters, "giving them visibility into how funds have been requested, committed and disbursed," according to FFL.

The new version of E-rate Manager is available now and is free to all E-rate applicants. Further information can be found at fundsforlearning.com.
