Renaissance Analytics Adds New Metrics Capabilities

Data analytics and learning assessment company Renaissance has enhanced its interface and upgraded features and metrics for several products within its Analytics platform. This can give administrators and educators insights into student performance and needed interventions across a school district. These upgrades come at no extra charge for existing Renaissance customers.

New upgrades include these products:

  • Expanded Star Assessments Metrics for Star CBM and computer-adaptive Star Assessments allow administrators to view assessment patterns.

  • Interactive Accelerated Reader Metrics reveals quick views into independent reading practice and quiz proficiency. Reading comprehension can be monitored and guided.

  • Freckle Metrics gives data on math and ELA practice, including average minutes practiced, which helps reveal application of skills and needed growth areas.

  • myON Metrics tracks how students use digital books, including information such as reading volume.

  • Lalilo Metrics provides data on early literacy skills, aligned with Science of Reading information. Data show levels of student usage, duration, and progress, from which targeted support interventions can be determined.

"As the education landscape evolves and educators seek impactful solutions to support students' academic recovery and growth, converting data into actionable insights that drive change and advance outcomes for students was key in developing these upgrades," said Todd Brekhus, chief product officer at Renaissance and Nearpod general manager.
