McGraw Hill, T-Mobile Partnership Pairs Digital Learning Tools with 5G-Enabled Tablets

In an effort to help schools bridge the digital divide, McGraw Hill and T-Mobile have teamed up to provide an integrated solution that combine's the former's digital learning tools with 5G-enabled devices powered by T-Mobile's 5G network.

The tablets can be preloaded with McGraw Hill's ALEKS adaptive math learning solution, Achieve3000 Literacy platform, and Actively Learn programs, which use learning data to identify skill gaps and provide personalized pathways to move students toward grade-level proficiency. The devices not only provide 5G connectivity to individual students, but also provide a hotspot feature that can connect several more devices in a home, delivering reliable internet access for parents, caregivers, and siblings, according to a news announcement. Families can also monitor student progress, assignments, and feedback in real time, as well as communicate directly with teachers through secure messaging tools, the companies said.
