Science for Kids' new Product Preview CD-ROM, available at no charge, demonstrates the firm's science programs for kids 4 through 14 years of age. The hybrid disc (Mac/Win) features an interactive excursion through the K-8 Science Curriculum and Science Adventures product lines. Users navigate in an exploratory mode or are guided through a self-running tutorial. Titles include CELLebration, Simple Machines, and Adventures with OSLO Tools & Gadgets. Tools & Gadgets has received several industry awards, including an Award of Excellence from CD-ROM Today. The Product Preview CD also contains demos from other publishers showing language arts, skills assessment, keyboarding, portfolio assessment and screen saver software.
