Brother PC Label Printers

Brother (http://education.brother.com) has two new PC label printers, the QL-500 and QL-550, which create low-cost address, shipping, visitor badge, file folder and CD/DVD labels in seconds - up to 50 labels per minute at 300 dpi. They can also print on a continuous tape in widths up to 2.4”, which is good for creating banners up to 3’. Their main difference is that the QL-550 automatically cuts labels after printing, while the QL-500 has a manual cutter. In addition, Brother’s thermal print technology eliminates toner, ink and ribbon costs. And since you can print one or several labels at a time, you no longer waste label sheets.
