Panda Launches Online Child Safety Campaign

Panda Software has created thePanda campaigns for child cybersafetyChildren and the Internet: Don’t LetThem Talk to Strangers campaign to makeparents and teachers aware of the peopleand the risks that children may encounterwhen surfing the Web without adult supervision.The initiative has attempted to getthe word out about the many threats a childmay encounter on the Internet (e.g., adultsites and sexual predators) through radioand TV campaigns, as well as throughEnglish (www.defendyourchild.com) andSpanish (www.menorenlared.com) Websites. The sites include useful tips forprotecting children while on the Internet,such as establishing firm rules andinstalling a good security program.
