EIN News has recently announced that it will make its entire library of news feeds available for free to members of the academic community.

According to the announcement, the new offering provides access to content from each of the company's 50 Web sites. Topics covered by EIN include geopolitics, energy, healthcare, technology, society, business, and finance, as well as range of industry-specific topics and issues. According to EIN, the sites include more than 200,000 "automatic news feeds," as well as archived articles from more than 35,000 online sources.

Immediate access will be granted to users with a current edu e-mail address, and can be requested through the EIN Web site. Students and educators without an edu e-mail account can request access through a Web form on the company's site.
