Samsung's SVP-5500 Video

Samsung Opto-Electronics America has introduced the SVP-5500 Video Presenter, which features a 16X optical zoom, auto focus and remote control. It has built-in RS-232C and USB interfaces that provide for communication between a remote control system and any Windows PC. Data storage of eight images and eight lens positions is possible. Further, the presenter has a divided screen capability that permits two images, one stored and one live.

Other features include built-in lights and light box, SVGA and VGA modes, computer storage through USB, 410,000 pixels at 30 frames per second, and a built-in 1024 Scan Converter that allows data to pass through as video. An LCD monitor and a second camera designed to shoot precise angles or close-up images are available as optional items.
